  うたフェス JAPANʼ26 in 横浜・神奈川のご開催を心よりお慶び申し上げます。主催の一般社団法人東京国際合唱機構の松下耕代表理事をはじめ、関係者皆さまの日頃のご尽力に深く敬意を表します。
  開催地の横浜は日本の吹奏楽の発祥の地であり、私が生まれ育った横須賀は戦後ジャズ発祥の地と言われるほど、神奈川は音楽が身近なまちです。
  3日間の会期中、多くの皆さまが性別や年齢、国籍などを超えて横浜に集い、モーツァルト生誕270周年を記念したレクイエムの演奏など、本公演でしか味わえない唯一無二のコンサートを楽しみ、素敵なひとときをお過ごしになることをお祈りします。

  I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on the opening of the Uta Fes JAPAN ’26 in Yokohama, Kanagawa. I would also like to express my deepest respect to Mr. Ko Matsushita, Executive Director of the International Choral Organization of Tokyo, and to everyone involved for their dedicated efforts in organizing this festival.
  Kanagawa is a region where music has been woven into daily life. The host city of Yokohama is recognized as the birthplace of brass band music in Japan, while my own hometown of Yokosuka is widely regarded as the cradle of Japanese post-war jazz.
  Over these three days, I hope that a lot of people of all  ages, genders, or nationalities will gather in Yokohama to enjoy the unique concerts only  at this festival, including a special performance of Mozart's Requiem commemorating the 270th anniversary of his birth. I wish everyone a memorable and wonderful time.

  「うたフェスJAPAN」が、この神奈川で盛大に開催されますことを心よりお喜び申し上げます。また、本フェスティバルの開催に向け、御尽力いただいた関係者の皆様に深く敬意を表しますとともに、フェスティバルに参加するため、御来県いただいた皆様に厚くお礼申し上げます。 「うたフェスJAPAN」は、高水準の音楽を通じて、新時代の音楽の楽しみ方を提案し、多様な人々をつなぐ素晴らしい場として多くの方々に愛されています。今年も出演者の歌声がひとつに重なり合い、心を揺さぶる美しいハーモニーとなって会場を包み込み、御来場された皆様に深い感動を届けてくださることを心より願っております。県では、文化芸術の魅力で人を引きつけ、地域のにぎわいをつくり出す、マグネット・カルチャー(マグカル)の取組を推進しています。そして、2027年３月には横浜で国際園芸博覧会「ＧＲＥＥＮ×ＥＸＰＯ ２０２７」が開催される予定です。この機会を通じて、本県の文化芸術の魅力を一層発信していきたいと考えておりますので、ぜひ多くの皆様に御参加いただき、記憶に残る素晴らしい体験をしていただきたいと考えています。 結びに、本フェスティバルの御成功と、お集まりの皆様のますますの御発展、御活躍を心から祈念し、お祝いの言葉といたします。

  I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on the opening of the Uta Fes JAPAN here in Kanagawa. I also wish to express my deepest respect to everyone whose dedication and hard work have made this festival possible, and my sincere gratitude to all those who have traveled to Kanagawa to take part in this festival. The Uta Fes JAPAN is widely loved as a remarkable festival that offers new ways to experience and enjoy music through exceptional musical performances while bringing together people from diverse backgrounds.
  It is my sincere hope that, once again this year, the voices of the performers will come together in a beautiful harmony that resonates throughout the venue and brings profound inspiration to everyone in the audience.
  Here in Kanagawa Prefecture, we are promoting the "Magnet Culture" ("Magcul") initiative, which aims to attract people through the appeal of arts and culture while creating vibrant local communities. In March 2027, Yokohama will also host "GREEN×EXPO 2027" (the International Horticultural Expo 2027). We hope this occasion will provide an opportunity to further showcase the richness of Kanagawa's arts and culture, and we warmly encourage many people to join us and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
  In closing, I wish the Uta Fes JAPAN '26 every success, and extend my best wishes for the continued prosperity and achievements of everyone gathered here today.

  「うたフェスJAPAN’26 スピリット オブ ザ シンガーズ in 横浜・神奈川」の開催を心より歓迎します。
  子どもから大人まで、国内外から多彩な出演者が集い、「うた」の魅力を届ける「うたフェスJAPAN」。クラシックやポップス、独唱やアンサンブル、合唱やアカペラなど、幅広い音楽表現に触れることができるのは、うたフェスならではです。この祭典を通じて、御来場の皆様に、「うた」が持つ奥深さと楽しさを体感していただけることを期待しています。
  「うた」をはじめ文化芸術は、人々の心を豊かにし、世代や立場を超えて人と人とを結び、そして暮らしに彩りをもたらします。本市では、横浜の強みを生かした横浜文化の創造を目指すとともに、誰もが文化活動を楽しめる環境を充実させ、文化芸術の力でまちににぎわいと活力を生み出してまいります。今後も皆様のお力添えをよろしくお願いいたします。

  I would like to extend my warmest welcome to the opening of the Uta Fes JAPAN '26 Spirit of the singers in Yokohama, Kanagawa.
  The Uta Fes JAPAN brings together a diverse range of performers from Japan and around the world, from children to adults, to share the true charm of "songs." One of the festival's greatest attractions is the opportunity to experience an extraordinary range of musical expression ーclassical, pop, vocal solo, vocal ensemble, choral music and a cappella. I hope that everyone attending this festival will discover both the richness and the enjoyment that "songs" have to offer.
  Culture and the arts, including "songs", enrich our lives, connect people across generations and backgrounds, and bring color and vitality to our communities. The City of Yokohama is committed to creating a unique cultural identity that builds on the city's strengths while fostering an environment in which everyone can enjoy cultural activities. Through the power of culture and the arts, we will continue to create a vibrant and dynamic city. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and cooperation in these efforts.
